New Homebuilders Coming to Painted Prairie
Exciting news from the award-winning Painted Prairie community in Aurora, CO... three new homebuilders will be joining the mix in the upcoming Phase 2 of development!
We were excited to be invited to an exclusive event recently, introducing Parkwood Homes, Remington Homes and Berkeley Homes as the newest homebuilders in Painted Prairie. Model home construction is scheduled to begin this summer, and we expect to see new homes in 2022.
Here's what we know so far:
Remington Homes is planning on offering two series of single family homes in Painted Prairie, with front loaded and alley loaded garages. With over 5 decades of experience in the west Denver real estate market, Painted Prairie will be the first new home community for Remington on the east side of Denver. Remington provides itself as an energy-efficient semi-custom homebuilder, "with a signature commitment to personalization."
Building in the Denver metro area since 1985, Berkeley Homes is excited to add Painted Prairie to their list of award winning communities. While still in the design phase, Berekeley is planning to start with 43 homesites in Painted Prairie, offering homes from about 2,300 - 3,000 sq ft. These alley load homes are also planned to offer choices on garage size and even "carriage houses" above the garage.
Well known to our clients from their popular homes in Central Park (formerly Stapleton), Parkwood Homes is planning a variety of floorplans and home styes in Painted Prairies. Starting with 22 lots in Phase 2, Parkwood plans on offering courtyard and shared driveway homes, rear (alley) garages, and homes with or without basements. They also expect to have their signature 3rd floor loft (or bedroom) spaces and optional carriage houses above the garage.
In addition to the new homebuilders joining the lineup in Painted Prairie, there were some updates from the neighborhood's existing homebuilders:
David Weekley Homes has a handful of homes available in Phase 1, with about 50 phase 2 homesites offering the same or similar floorplans with alley loaded garages. They are also projecting 26 lots (to start) with new front loaded home designs.
KB Home continues to sell its single family homes in Phase 1, but will not have additional detached homesites in Phase 2. They will, however, continue to build their Paired "Villa" Homes in Phase 2.
Meritage Homes will continue to offer their popular townhomes in Phase 2 - they are currently sold out in Phase 1.
Epic Homes will continue to build two and three story park-facing homes in Phase 2.
McStain Neighborhoods does not currently plan on having homesites in Phase 2.
